It took a whilst to get off the ground soon after the 2004 release of the second reside-action graphic action sci-fi horror flick, The Chronicles Of Riddick, failed to reside up to box workplace expectations. Fortunately, the film, in addition to its lead actor, solified Diesel's exemplary performance of anti-heroic fugitve, killer, rebel, alien hunter, warrior and galactic survivalist recognized only as Riddick, as a cult preferred among hardcore fans more than the years since the commence of the Pitch Black franchise in 2000 with director David Twohy.
Twohy is now back at the helm with Diesel, who is joined by co-star Karl Urban, reprising his role from the 2004 film. Also starring are Jordi Molla, Matt Nable, Katee Sackhoff, Bokeem Woodbine, Dave Bautista, Conrad Pla, Raoul Trujillo, Nolan Funk and Keri Hilson.

The infamous Riddick has been left for dead on a sun-scorched planet that seems to be lifeless. Quickly, however, he finds himself fighting for survival against alien predators much more lethal than any human he's encountered.
