The New International Trailer For THE SEVENTH SON Is Online

With award-winning filmmaker Sergey Bodrov's most recent fantasy actioner, The Seventh Son, making its way to a panel hosted by Legendary Photos at this summer's events at San Diego Comic Con on July 20, a new international trailer has been unveiled for the U.K. release on October 25, 2013. Warner Bros. will be releasing the film on its new date, January 17, 2014, during MLK weekend. The release date news came back in June as per the announcement of several previously announced dates for October 2013 and February 2014, the result of VFX residence, Rhythm & Hues, filing for bankruptcy back in February. The company was ultimately acquired in March by an affiliate of Los Angeles-primarily based visual effects company, Prana.

The Seventh Son stars Jeff Bridges, Julianne Moore and Ben Barnes, along with Alicia Vikander, Antje Traue, Olivia Williams and Kit Harington in a story based on author Joseph Delaney's 2004 fantasy novel, The Spook's Apprentice. Unfortunately, Warner Bros. is on a blocking spree throughout Youtube although we await a North American trailer for the film's release, so if the embed beneath does not load, really feel cost-free to verify out the international trailer below the synopsis, courtesy of ComingSoon.net.

SYNOPSIS:
In a time extended previous, an evil is about to be unleashed that will reignite the war between the forces of the supernatural and humankind when far more. Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges) is a knight who had imprisoned the malevolently potent witch, Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), centuries ago. But now she has escaped and is searching for vengeance. Summoning her followers of each incarnation, Mother Malkin is preparing to unleash her terrible wrath on an unsuspecting planet. Only a single thing stands in her way: Master Gregory.

In a deadly reunion, Gregory comes face to face with the evil he usually feared would someday return. Now he has only until the subsequent full moon to do what usually takes years: train his new apprentice, Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) to fight a dark magic unlike any other. Man’s only hope lies in the seventh son of a seventh son.
