THE EXPENDABLES 3 Wraps In Bulgaria

Actor Sylvester Stallone took to Twitter to congratulate his fellow all-star cast members of The Expendables 3. The third installment of the franchise started filming in Bulgaria back in August as news of the film's major cast members began arriving in the nation trickled into the media.

The production did see some slightly much more adventerous turns with viral reports of actor Jason Statham's close to-death experiences on the set of the film, which had been clarified by Stallone and fellow lead Terry Crews given that then. Needless to say, filming continued with Statham who finished his scenes prior to arriving in Atlanta, Georgia to reprise his Furious Six role in Fast And Furious 7 with fellow actor, action star Tony Jaa, and The Expendables three co-star Ronda Rousey.

Releasing on August 15, 2014, The Expendables 3 stars Stallone, Statham, Crews and Rousey, along with Dolph Lundgren, Jet Li and Randy Couture, in addition to Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, Kellan Lutz, Victor Ortiz, Glen Powell, Mel Gibson, Kelsey Grammer and Robert Davi. The film is written by Stallone and Olympus Has Fallen scribes Creighton Rothenberger & Katrin Benedikt with action sequences developed by J.J. Perry, and is directed by Patrick Hughes.

SYNOPSIS:

In THE EXPENDABLES 3, Barney (Stallone), Christmas (Statham) and the rest of the team comes face-to-face with Conrad Stonebanks (Gibson), who years ago co-founded The Expendables with Barney. Stonebanks subsequently became a ruthless arms trader and somebody who Barney was forced to kill… or so he believed. Stonebanks, who eluded death after prior to, now is producing it his mission to finish The Expendables -- but Barney has other plans. Barney decides that he has to fight old blood with new blood, and brings in a new era of Expendables group members, recruiting folks who are younger, quicker and much more tech-savvy. The latest mission becomes a clash of classic old-college style versus high-tech knowledge in the Expendables’ most personal battle but.
