SDCC 2013: Katniss Returns As The Symbol Of Hope In The New Comic-Con Trailer For HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE

The 1st official teaser for Hunger Games: Catching Fire, was released back in April during the MTV Movie Awards. Right now, the brand new trailer unveiled on Saturday for the duration of the events at San Diego Comic Con where actress Jennifer Lawrence also surpised fans with an appearance by Michael Fassbender, accompanied with the cast of X-Guys: Days Of Future Past.

 Francis Lawrence inherits the director's seat from Gary Ross who helmed the first film.

Briefly picking up exactly where The Hunger Games left off, Catching Fire sees actress Lawrence and actor Josh Hutcherson as the reigning champions of the 74th annual Hunger Games, which requires them on a victory tour by way of the districts of Panem, where a rebellion continues to brew day by day. Meanwhile, behind the curtains are the President and the Gamemaker as they prepare the subsequent competitors, The Quarter Quell, while conspiring against the peoples' heroine in the hopes of suppressing the masses even more.

SYNOPSIS:

Katniss Everdeen has returned home protected following winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow tribute Peeta Mellark. Winning indicates that they need to turn about and leave their family members and close pals, embarking on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts. Along the way Katniss senses that a rebellion is simmering, but the Capitol is nonetheless very considerably in control as President Snow prepares the 75th Annual Hunger Games (The Quarter Quell) - a competition that could alter Panem forever.
